New Years Eve

For New Years Eve we decided to go ice skating.

 Tessa even tried it one time around and that was enough for her.

All of us ate giant crab legs and shrimp except for Taige who was grossed out.  They were delicious.

 

We have been watching the Star Wars Saga and finished 3 & 4 off that night.  Then at midnight we went outside to do sparklers.  It was so cold that after 5 minutes we were ready to come back inside.

Christmas Eve

We made it back from Disneyland at midnight on the 23rd.  We didn't want to drive through another storm and we wanted to be back for Christmas.  We had a Christmas Eve party at Grandma's house.

Back at our house Tacoma built a fire and we did smores.

Then the kids all slept together on the floor.  They actually all fell asleep and got to stay together.

Our Christmas tree...  It is something to be desired, but one we all picked out together.

Disneyland!!

For Christmas this year Santa gave our family a trip to Disneyland!!  Boy were we all excited!!  Troy's sister's family came with us.  We had sooo much fun!!

It's a small world was neat at Christmas.  It was all lit up and they sang it's a small world mixed with Christmas songs.

We spent the first day at Disneyland celebrating Talon's birthday.  He got to wear a pin that said it was his birthday and Goofy sang Happy Birthday to him.  All of the workers who saw the pin told him Happy Birthday and talked to him.  He loved it!  There was one ride where the worker forgot to tell Talon Happy Birthday so he pointed to his pin and said "did you forget to tell me something?"  It was pretty funny.  I am pretty sure he thought his birthday was the best ever...

We really had a fun and memorable time at Disneyland.  Christmas was busy, magical and definitely worth it!!

Christmas programs

The kids had there Christmas programs at school.

Talon sang all I want for Christmas is my 2 front teeth.  He was grinning and smiling the whole time. He was so cute. 

 Tessa's preschool class sang in the mall.  They did a good job.

Taige

Tacoma did a project this year on the Netherlands.  He was so excited to choose the Netherlands because that is where Troy served his mission.  He got to bring in wooden shoes and Dutch food.  I really think he enjoyed doing this project even though it was a school assignment.
