In November we went down to St. George. We went riding bikes and horses. The kids all got a chance to ride Tegan's horse. Thanks Tegan! It was a lot of fun.

Grandma and Talon going for a ride.
StephTacoma and Talon Taige

Talon is 4!!

Last weekend we ventured up to Salt Lake to go ice skating. The kids all tried it and had a lot of fun. Well everyone except Talon. He was too cold..
Mom and Tessa taking a break by the fire.
Mom, Taige and Tacoma Talon made it around once and that was enough for him. It was more than Troy made it around. He said he would stay with Tessa in the stroller, blah, blah, blah.. I really think it has something to do with a thumb and a roller skate.
Tacoma got on the ice and just skated off. It was amazing. It took Taige a little longer to get used to the skates, but by the end of the night she had it down pretty well.It was a fun trip and a good excuse to get out of the house.

Talon is now 4 years old! I can't believe it. He is growing up so fast. He is such a hoot and a joy to have in our family!! Happy Birthday Talon!!
His Shrek Birthday Cake! A BYU bat and ball-Yeah!
For his birthday party he wanted to go bowling. He had a lot of fun. Dad getting me started. We had to get the rail or otherwise the ball wouldn't make it down the lane.He knocked down all of the pins. Who was more excited Troy or Talon? He also had a Birthday Party at my sister's house. Thanks Jerilyn!
The kids have had there Christmas Programs. They all did a great job and it was fun to see them sing Christmas songs.
Tacoma Taigely Talon. He is such a goof ball!

Boating in October!!

For Fall Break we again headed to Lake Mead! We had awesome weather all of the days we were there. The water was smooth the first day but the other days it wasn't as great. We all had a great time. The kids enjoyed wake boarding, knee boarding and riding in the tube. Troy did his usual of wake boarding and also got to try some surfing behind Darin's boat. I wake boarded and skied. We all got in our last runs Saturday and then headed to Tylyn's to help with Trager's homecoming lunch. On Sunday we went to Trager's homecoming and then to Tylyn's for lunch. Trager gave a great talk and has really grown so much spiritually. Thanks Trager for the example you have been to our family!

Grandma holding Tennley and Tessa.Tegan and Taigely had a lot of fun skipping rocks and exploring on the beach.Talon's favorite thing to do when we go boating is to find big rocks and throw them into the water to see the big splash. Troy and Talon taking a break on the boat.Tennley and Tacoma playing in the sand. They made a river in the sand that emptied into the lake.Talon and Tennley in the "pink" tube.Taige and Tegan hanging out on the beach. This is what we do best on the beach. Eat our lunches and snack all day long. It really was a great boating trip. I am sad to see the warm weather end and know that it is time to put the boat away for the season. The kids however are looking forward to the snow so they can get up in the mountains to ski and snowboard.

Halloween Party

We got together with my family for our annual Halloween Party. We decided to try out a corn maze this year. We headed off to Hee Haw Farms. It was a great place to go for the kids. The lines weren't long and the corn maze was a lot of fun. Tacoma and Taige went off by themselves with some of there other cousins and had a blast. Talon especially loved the big slide and wanted to go again and again and again. After all the fun at Hee Haws we went back to my parents house for the Halloween Party. The kids got to put their costumes on and do some trick-or-treating. It was a lot of fun. The kids really look forward to this party every year. Thanks mom and dad for letting us come to your house and for all of the yummy treats and soups! Oh and congrats to all of my sisters!!!
This is a little train that the kids got to ride.
This is the big slide that they all loved to slide down.
Talon wanted me to go with him the first time then he could do it all by himself the next time.
This is a trick-or-treat hay wagon ride. We rode around in a wagon and some characters like Cinderella, Darth Vator and Spider man threw candy to us.
At my parents house getting ready to trick-or-treat.All of the grand kids posing for a picture.

It was a successful Halloween Party!

Tessa is crawling..AAHHHH!

Tessa is 7 months old and already crawling. She is growing up so fast. I can't believe it. She has two teeth on the bottom and says of course, mom mom mom. I thought my house was some what baby proof, boy what was I thinking? She is sitting up all by herself. She has a toy in sight.
There she goes.
She made it to her destination, a blue hair band that she refuses to leave on her head.
What a cute and funny girl!!

What a great 12 days of vacation we have been on. We got to go back East to visit my brother and his family in New Jersey. They basically took care of everything for us. They put together an itinerary, the food, supplied a stroller, a play pen, a car and every little detail was taken care of. It truly was an awesome vacation. This is a run down of the things we did.
Day 1- We flew into New Jersey in the morning and hung out at Michael and Cammie's house. We played games and stayed up late.
Day 2- We drove to Washington DC to see the memorials of Lincoln, Jefferson, Vietnam, WWII and the Korean War. It was a lot of walking.Day 3- We walked to the White House, National History Smithsonian, Arlington Cemetery to see the changing of the guard, the Washington Monument and the Capital Building. On the drive back we stopped to see the Washington DC Temple. It is so beautiful.Day 4- We drove to Easton PA to go to the Crayola Factory. The kids had a lot of fun doing interactive things. That night we got to go to a Phillies vs. Florida Marlins baseball game. It was so much fun. Troy can finally say that he has been to a professional baseball game now.Day 5- We went to Sacrament meeting in Michael's Ward then headed to Hershey PA. We took a tour of Hershey's Chocolate World. It smelt do good.Day 6- We spent the day at Hershey Park. The kids had so much fun going on all of the rides. Taigely and Tacoma loved going on the upside down rides and the wooden roller coasters.Day 7- We drove to Liberty State Park where we took a ferry ride to see the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Then we drove to downtown New York City- Yikes! Cammie arranged for babysitters so the adults could see Wicked on Broadway. It was AWESOME!!
Day 8- We took the metro to see Ground Zero, FAO Schwarz (a big toy store in Manhattan), Central Park, Time Square and the New York Temple.Day 9- We went to Philadelphia to see the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. We stopped along the way to have a Philly Cheese steak sandwich. It was delicious. We then went on a duck tour. That is a bus kind of thing that toured around at sights then drove right into the river. It was pretty fun. That night we went to an Eagles Pre-Season football game. It was a lot of fun. Day 10- We went to the Wildwood Crest Beach. We spent the whole day there. We all had a good time except for the 15 minutes Talon was missing. He wandered off 3 lifeguard stations down the beach. It was so scary. We were so grateful to finally find him. He didn't leave my sight again.Day 11- We went back to Michael and Cammie's to just relax for the day. It was fun to just hang out and let the kids play even though it was so hot and humid.
Day 12- We got up at 4:30 AM (2:30 AM our time) to fly home. It was nice to be home but sad to see the vacation over. Thanks Michael and Cammie for a GREAT VACATION! We owe you one.
